What will be done about clones?

Will this game allow clones of famous comic book chars? I hope not. I hate seeing clones. Be original or be nothing at all is my motto. Not to mention does Cryptic want another lawsuit headed their way? Please don't allow clones. I also would take it that clones of Hero/Champions personalities will not be allowed?

That's all pretty much a given.

But that doesn't mean we won't see clones.

They better hope I dont see them first. I report clones happily to "the fuzz" on CoH. :p

I hope they put something in place for them as well. Most likely it will just be if you see one report it type of thing.

I imagine it will focus much like CoH. Your officially warned not to make infringing characters and if you do it gets genericized as soon as a GM sees it. They don't need a bunch of flak from Marvel and DC.

I have an old Pencil and Paper Champions character that I would LOVE to try to re-create.
All kinds of powers tweaked with disads to not only keep the points balanced, but turn the powers into the ones I originally envisioned.

Flight with a disad of must be in contact with a surface = running @ mach 2
