Anyone interested in setting up a UK based super team?....

No offense to you lovable Americans, but the time difference leaves me missing out on all but the earliest of Raids and respec missions.....

Im not much of a leader - I prefer to stand in the background supplying sarcasm and random insanity - but if anyone wants to start a UKSG, I'd love to join :)

Altho it is a little early, but thats a good thing. Only real question would be The name, and leadership roles ;)

It does raise a question over how they're doing the servers, I think that both the US and EU servers should be accessible to both like a few other games do.

That could be a problem. but as swerv said. its early. so, fingers crossed. ^_^

The Watchdogs

I do like 'The Few'. but if we show up to stop the end of the world and theres 40 of us.. are we really 'The Few' ? ;)

Well it was based off of the speech made by Winston Churchill:

Well I don't want to kind of force it down anyones throats, I just thought it had a nice ring to it.

"Never was so much owed by so many to so few", sort of summed up a lot of what being a hero was about to me :)

I guess we're gonna need a leader as well >_<

"The Few" does sound good, what with the link to a previous British victory against villainy, but I was wondering about a group name with the initials "UK" after seeing the group "United Sentinels of America". ("USA", geddit? Oh, well, I thought it was good)

But, yeah, "The Few" sounds great.

"Dominion" sounds too super-villainy if you ask me.

How about the classic "Excalibur"? Or, perhaps, there's another name we can take from old British myth.

I think it should definitely be something with some link to Britian and the UK.

The Few - famous Churchill (can't get much more British) speech and it sounds pretty cool and minimilistic too. Nameless Few?

Also of course it could also reference a speech written a few hundred years before that by Shakespeare for Henry V :)

As long as it's not the cliched name Band of Brothers :)

I like The Arms of Dominion and it's got an excellent reference to Britishness but like MacroMan said it does sound a bit villiany if you have no idea about the English coat of arms.

Not sure if and when I'll get back into CoH/CoV as a)I have to get a client 2.3Gb is too big a download :( b)I quit in the end due to the client losing my charatcers when I zoned (needed it to be reset by GM).

I'm an old time CoX player major altisis with 2 accounts, 1 lvl50 and multiple characters in the 35-45 bracket. Played since EU beta and was one of the first players on live server (got in before the servers went live officilally) played all major classes/powersets up to i10 but predominantly played scrappers. Was actually looking for a free trial when I found this site so I could see if the bug that killed my fun had been fixed. :D

Really looking forward to CO as I write fiction for a super powered universe (amateur writer) and have some ideas that I really want to try. :D

This is for 360 right??
If it iz sign me up. Im thinking of having super strength and i got 2 other people who'd be happy to join im sure. We are all in seniors skool and dnt care bout your age.

I will probs be called Titanium Tijan (updated). it sums up the whole bulletproof thing and i thought id wear summit like Iron Man without the helmet or Defender without the helemet

The Few (sorry to be bit nosy ) sounds more villain i reckon we should go with a good UK based name:
A few r cheesy but still:

UK Defenders
(we could base around names for instance Captain armerica and spida man (i no they just 1st thing i thought) )
could be like Team Manhatten cuz they both like New York or sumwhere near der

What about 'British Battlers' or 'Union Justice' (A take on Union Jack, replacing the Jack with Justice).

I'm not too good with names to be honest, but something themed so that other players will know where we're from.

I like the Union Of Justice???? Anywayz i probs wont be in group as by the sound of things your all computer based

Zero Meridian a UK super group that went through US beta and played on the American servers until we moved to the EU is going to be reforming in Champions just so you know.

I'm definatly up for joining.

I Work Full time, And so last thing I need is to have crazy time difference to worry about :P.

Any idea at this stage what times people would be interested in playing generaly etc.
And what age groups would be involved.

We where all young once But I'm just not particulary keen on spending my free time changing nappies.
