I agree with you BUT...I just created a twitter account for use with my main Militiaman. It is Militiaman (http://twitter.com/Militia_Man). My only use for it is to stay in character while I am playing the game.

@Cryptic folks, some suggestions that would be helpful to those of us new to this SN tech:

1. You should add Facebook and Twitter links somewhere on the Home website. I dug around and could not find any, but I found an old Forum post from June with the official CO Facebook profile. Problem with not having links on your official home, is that folks might join fake profiles by mistake.

2. In searching for Twitter links, I found that there are several devs to follow. It would be preferrable to just have one official Champions Online Twitter profile to follow for official announcements, then we can choose to follow different devs if we like. For example, EQ2, EQ, WoW, LOTRO, DDO all have a single official Twitter profile for the game itself...

3. There is no #3, the post just felt emptier without a #3. :D

(disclaimer: I'm not a social networker, or very social, but I'm making efforts to change in my old age, and I am finding this new tech is actually rather handy... )

I can't wait for Neverwinter Nights. I tend to choose cryptic over many other MMO creators now mainly because of the way the devs interact with the community and the fact you can do lifetime payments so you don't have to worry about it every month.
