Currently flitting between games right now: GTA IV, Burnout Paradise, Virtual On... would have still been playing SR2 if the Ultor Exposed addon didn't suck... Lode Runner, among other things.

It's really up to you. I think it's a great game, and shelled out for it as soon as I could get a points card (availability sucks here, starting to consider just using my credit card for all points in future), but a lot of people gag at the sight of the 1200 points price.

I'd say not for $15 -- your mileage may vary, of course.

Not playing much right now -- I'm in one of those dry spells between releases I'm interested in. On the horizon are Prototype, Batman and Ghostbusters, however -- I'm hoping they live up to their potential. Brutal Legend also looks interesting down the line.

On XBLA I'm waiting for the Wallace and Grommit games. I used to play the Telltale adventure games on my PC, but they didn't run terribly well. Having them on Xbox will be a definate relief, not to mention I'd prefer playing it off of my TV anyway.

dead rising

Dead Rising was my initiation into the fact that some games make their text illegible on a SDTV. Why do they do this? Only the game makers know. I shelved it until I get an HDTV -- I absolutely hate not being able to read the text.

i read on joystiq.com (great place for ps3/nintendo/360 news) that someone in microsoft put lode runner at 800ms points for 1 hour until, there boss found out and rised the price to 1200ms again.
Not a lot of people got it for that price though. :(

I actually don't own a 360, but I go to a friend's house and play those games sometimes. Though, when I finally buy my own I'm going to play:

Bioshock
Fallout 3 + DLC (Beat it but can't wait to play all 3 DLC's at once.)
Fable 2 + DLC (Beat it and I'll get Knothole Island, but can't wait for the new DLC coming out.)

have to agree the Bionic commando was **** but the red fraction demo is pretty good. You can destroy anything, like building and bridges. Its funner just to do that than play the actual game. :)

Um, anyway. I got that Wolverine:Origins game and it's pretty good. Violent as all hell. Not really interested in the film, but the game is worth $60 to me. There's a demo on Live if anybody wants to see it.

I can't think of another case where a movie's game was significantly more bl0ody than the movie itself...Wolverine definitely holds that distinction, however, Although you don't turn your enemies into french fries three different ways (at least, not in the demo), you darn near do everything else to 'em.

I wasn't at all interested in this game until I played the demo. After I saw that, I bought it the next day.

I heard it was the best movie film ever.

The wolverine was ok, but definitely not the best movie of a super hero ever. Iron Man and the newer Hulk movie are way better in terms of super hero movies.

Is the graphics and movement of the player good?Dude, that Wolverine game is sick. In a good way. I beat it last night and immediately started again on hard. And then I had to force myself to put it down at like, five this morning. This game is downright addictive.

Graphics and movement are good. The combat system is where the game truly shines. He's got counters, environment kills, super-charged moves...Wolverine knows every way to kill.

I haven't been interested in Wolverine since I was like, seventeen years old, before they started telling his origins and all that. But this game is good enough to get me somewhat interested in the movie. I went from not caring about the film at all to thinking it might be a good way to kill some downtime solely because of this game.

This game got me slightly interested in a film that I know is crap. It's that good. :D

Because God ofWar was the first ever Hack and Slash ever...jesus. Thats like saying God of War is a rip off of dynasty warriors....and all other hack and slashs before that. Wolverine is nothing like God of War.

On a lighter note. I also have the game and it is really fun, I was a bit skeptical at first but I heard on IGN it was pretty good and then I downloaded the demo. Now I just cant put it down, Claw drilling enemies into little tiny bits its just awesome :P

It's amazing how the Wolverine game seems to garner such positive reviews when the film it's based off...not so much.

Been playing Left 4 Dead survival mode quite a bit lately, just never gets old. Might have to pick up that Wolverine game though.
