I tried posting this in the technical help forums in CoH as well as looked through their help database but havent come across any kind of help for it.so maybe yall can help me :)

I downloaded the 14 day trial of CoH through the night and when i woke up it was all set,so i restarted my pc and clicked on the game icon..took a wee bit to load but when it finally asked for my password and such i came across this wonky screen.

ive tried tweaking my visual settings for lower and higher resolution to no avail and i cant see enough of the screen to get into the game and open a menu to maybe change the resolution settings (not even sure its a resolution issue but since im not the brightest bulb in the box when it comes to the technical aspect of PCs i figured i would just start there.

Anyhow, any help would be great.thank you for your time :)

oh also my normal screen resolution is 1400 x 900.i changed the game properties option to run in 640 x 480 compatible with windows XP service pack 2,but that didnt help either :)

From that image you provided, I can say I used to experience a similar issue with my computer whenever I would minimize CoH and open another program (web browser for example). I fixed it by matching the resolutions of CoH and my computer and moniter. Try loading the game in Safe Mode, that defaults the game to the lowest graphic settings, including resolution which is 640x480. Then once in the game you should be able to customize it to your preferences.

CoH has a problem with radeon cards, that when grabbing enhancements your pointer was off by an inch or so. I dont know anything more than that.

The only other thing I can think of was a mouse glitch if you were using Vista, you had to add something to the CoH command line. But that was a disappearing mouse thing I think.

Unless you need to fiddle with screen sizes again.
