No fresh word so far, but I wouldn't worry too much. Cryptic has been pretty good about doing open beta tests with both of their releases, so I wouldn't expect different in that regard. (Was in closed AND open beta for both City of Heroes and City of Villains.)

Sounds good. I figured it's getting close to the wire so they might throw out invites soon. Me & my wife have been waiting awhile and she's getting antsy lol

Stress testing is generally the final stage in the beta process. So expect open beta in june

The only information is teh rumors that they may increase beta's online time by a few hours for each weekly testing period.

As soon as they announce an open beta I'll be all over it. (Of course, If I happened to get a closed beta invite before then I'd be all over that probably even faster :p)

actually they started stress testing a few months ago



stressing their minds to make this game better :)

They have been expanding the closed beta, but I wouldn't expect a true open beta for a little while. I mean, the winner of the current contest gets a beta key. I would imagine that they are going to make that prize worth having and not start open beta the next test after the winner gets to try it out.

If there is a open beta i would guess somtime middle of june and it will close around first of july.
But if the games goes gold before that i would not expect a open beta.
