View Full Version : Ice Slide Travel Power

Does anyone know if we will be able to change the way this power looks at all? For example is i have a hero with fire power and i want to use the Ice slide travel power, well it really wouldnt go well with my characters powers. Is there a way i can change it so instead of me sliding on ice i can slide on fire? I doubt they will have this but i just think it would be pretty cool if you could change the way your travel power look to better go with your character. Same goes for the swinging travel power.

But I think it might be tricky to make it look like real flame rather then just yellow/red ice. I'd guess you could get fairly close but not quite all the way.

I'm hoping that players will be able to change the ice block so it can look like a chunk of rock (maybe volcanic rock too? *shrug*)

Yeah, I have given some thought about using the ice powers to mimic earth powers.

You can change the colors so you might get close... But you will not be able to change the way the ice slide actually looks. So maybe you can get something that looks like a chunk of rock... with a trail of dirt behind it.

I'm already envisioning the ice slider, coming in on the yellow slick. Both the villain and the rescued citizen alike looking at the slide in horror.

You are in so much trouble if Lemon Lass sees that :)

That said am I correct in thinking the ice slide is the power that looks like a short surfboard with a vapor trail behind it?

That was EXACTLY what I was thinking when I saw the pic on the screenshots thread. Made me wonder if the devs were wondering of implementing a flying surfboard travel power.
