??? i just deleted COX. I went back on to check out the create your own mission stuff, and within 15 min of the free reactivation- signed off, uninstalled. :(

yea i read that post posi did also...i guess farming got real bad now,i cant imagine how PI is now with all those lvl 5s asking for PL's hehehe

Well, there were TONS of people involved in MA testing that told them straight-up how easy it was to use and abuse for farming purposes, and it seems like they didn't listen to that feedback at the time. What really seems to be plausible, though, is the fact that you go from 1-50 in a few hours... And then stop playing because you realize you have nothing else to do once you get to that point.

Basically Positron, the excuse for a lead designer, opened a thread with a post that in short declared Mission Architect was being abused, he knew it was going to happen, did nothing to stop it from happening, and threatened deleting characters and banning accounts for anyone who did abuse Mission Architect (which is basically anyone that has play CoH in the past three weeks.) Many people are upset about the farming vs. not farming argument, but I am more upset at his godlike threatening of raining doom on people without a clear definition of what "abusing the architect system" consists of.

I have played CoH for five years, because it was the only super hero MMO available (see monopoly), but CHAMPIONS gives people an option, and if the over 500 page thread full of replies to Positron's message is any indication, this game will be full of hardcore MMO players on Day 1.
