I've looked over a few sites and seen alot of the power sets, but noticed none of them seem to be defensive, they are all offensive appearing in nature

So do you only take 2 offensive sets, a endurance power and a travel power?


Are they no lightning reflexes, regeneration, invinciblility, etc powersets?

Defenses are within the power sets you chose, they aren't their own power set.

According to a video I saw taken at a game conference, one of the staff members was talking about this.

There are no classes. Thus no tank. But when you form a group you can set, or change, your roll in the group. Thus anybody can tank, or anybody can be a dmg dealer. Not sure about healer, it was not mentioned in by the staff member.

The video is somewhere on these forums, I don't remember where though.

there are four main defenses: invulnerability, lightning reflexes, force fields, and regeneration.

they are found within particular frameworks, some of which are obvious (i'd say 3 of the 4 are obvious) and some of which are not so obvious.

Ok, guessing games:

Force Field is in Force, Invunerability is in Might, either LR or Regen in Supernatural, and the other one, err, somewhere else?

Since the defenses are TYPES and not specific powers, I would guess your logic is flawed. Invulnerability based powers could also be found (just my thinking) in power armor. As could a force field type power. ALL of the martial arts frameworks could have a reflex type of power. For that matter, ALL of the lelement powers could have a force field...or an invulnerability that only works against that element...There really is a lot of room for possibilities here.
