So what did this Positron guy do exactly? I don't know anything about CoX or who he is, but I've been seeing people talk about this incident today, whatever it was. Just curious.

people are QQing cause they can't sploit anymore .

i was just waiting for it too happen ..seriously there broadcast chat was just spam about farms in most if not all the zones after ae went out.

people found ways to getting really fast easy exp by putting certain mobs into missions.

so your prob gonna get a influx of people , "im so mad rite nao i can't get to 50 in 3 hours no mo positron ruined my game pouts."

it was out of control. you could get to 1-50 in a day. it needed to be fixed. the coh devs werent carefull enough to catch these exploits before the new system went live. if there are missions that you can run that will give you lots of xp players are going to use them, its just how mmos are. so people were powerlvling like mad and posi got ticked about it and told us we might be locked off of our heroes if we power lvl them using the new system. it is silly to gripe paying players out for playing with the toys you give them. no one was hacking anything here. i could have done without the lecture from posi.

I find it hard to believe that CoX didnt see this coming. You give power levelers the perfect tool they need and they are going to use it. Now they are mad because of it and want to put a stop to it. They opened the door and are angry when players step thru it.

There are some really good player made missions (very small few:)), but the vast majority just want to farm. I dont like the MA system since no one is doing anything else in CoX. I use to do at least one TF/SF a weekend, it was very easy to find a team or form one. I havent done one since MA started up. Everyone is to busy farming.

i thought the flavor of the month dev not to like was castle "shrugs".

anyway only thing i could fault positron for was giving players enough rope to hang themselves .
