So I was wondering what would happen if two people submited the same name for the Urban Plannng contest? Would they take the person who emailed the name first or would both be disqualified? I was just thinking this as i submitted my park name earlier today.Anyone know?

It wouldn't make sense to disqualify both. They would probably just pick the earlier entry.

Does the contest seem slightly cruel to anyone else? lol :P
I mean, only the first place winner will receive a Beta Key....so they're only giving one Beta key out.
With as much as everyone is jonesing for a key and will be clammering at this chance to get one it almost seems kinda cruel to just give one out lol

Like they should give keys to all winners, and only signed poster to the first place or something. Between a poster and a key I bet a lot of gamers would pick the keys lol

Well, assuming that the name was good enough to warrant consideration (not a given. If two people submitted Ray Park Park, it probably wouldn't matter who submitted it first :) ), they could always go with something that was equally worthy but not duplicated, and send the other folks an autographed poster. :p

If it wasn't in the rules,(I am not submitting an entry, so it really wasn't worth the effort to read them all. I just wanted to see what the prizes were), then I would guess that they would either draw one of the names from a hat or just go with the earliest date/time.

The plaque would be kind of neat, though. :cool:

Yeah, I'm wondering about that too. I read the rules pretty thoroughly and I don't think it said anything about that.
