I remember one of my funniest experiences in CoX was before we had the 'magnitude' stuff that knock up powers and knockback powers were based on level difference. We actually at one time held a contest in Atlas to see who could knock a Hellion up the farthest and I slotted for knockup just because of that fun experience.
Will it be brought back? Can I throw an enemy up like Hancock threw the little boy?

They probably will have something like that, but most likely not on the "Hancock Scale".

One of the press hands-on articles recently revealed that the Strength stat will improve your knockback, and reduce the effects of others' knockbacks against you. Combine that with "super stat" choices from levelling up, and you can probably punt the bad guys quite a ways if you want to!

Yeah. A really strong character against a (much) lower level one that is not going to have anywhere near the strength should fly quite a ways.
I always liked hitting Helions with my energy punch thing one of my blasters had. Man they would fly. Until they landed, anyway. cool:

The guy in the recent Massively podcast about champions mentioned he was very impressed with how high enemies were knocked up in the air from a fully charged uppercut, and that advantage points could increase both the range of the knock up as well as the damage they took from falling back to the earth! Very exciting stuff!

It's good that they've thought to add in these kind of small touches that really make the game world come alive. This kind of attention to detail promises great things.

The quote in question regarding Uppercut and knockup:
A Might power called upper-cut can knock an enemy upwards into the air, but if you charge it you'll deal more damage on hit and send the foe almost comically higher into the air -- and it deals extra damage when he lands!
