Does speed have any effect on damaging attacks? although i doubt it because it sounds hard to incorporate into the game.
Any word on this?
Oh and when you use a power do you stop? Such as when in CoX you would be running straight at an enemy in Super speed and you have Knockout blow qued and once you get in range it activates, the attack hits but usually by the time it hits you are a few meters away.
I understand that people that do know the answer to this question are in beta and are under NDA.
But just asking

Looking at the munitions video from a while back they're able to shoot and move at the same time, so it looks probable :) ~

I doubt your speed will affect the strength of your attacks, but we do know you can move and attack at the same time. Several of the recent videos demonstrate this quite nicely, and Cryptic have stated that all but a few powers can be used on the move.

They want to do something like that, but have not put it in yet. Here is Bill Roper explaining it in an interview with Ten Ton Hammer:
Question:
Ruben: Awesome. Okay, here's one, "Will travel powers effect combat? For example, will a character hit harder when moving at a target in super speed?" and to kind of tie in with that, someone else also asked, "With super speed, will character be able to run up walls and interact with objects that way?"
Answer:
Bill: In terms of the combat stuff, right now it doesn't. That's actually something we're looking at, I don't know what we'll be able to work out with that. It may be something if your in a movement speed your defense is higher, that kind of thing. So that's just us looking at... We're spending a lot of time on the travel powers right now, trying to have them be more interesting and kind of enjoyable as you run around. One of the things that's been cool about that is we actually made some changes to the powers to super jump lately and we got a ton of great feedback in the beta about that. We're doing stuff with flight and acrobatics and supering everything right now and just how those work and how those are different in terms of not only what they do, as we just talked about with the ranks, but then also if there's a way we can tie that into combat. I don't know if we really will, but it is something we are looking at in terms of what we can and can't pull off that's doable in terms of the system right now. In terms of players doing things like running up walls and things like that, again, nothing that's in right now. Part of it is because not every area in the world is cities that we take you to, it makes better sense in some places and less in others. It's a combination of design and tech and animation and stuff that I think that we definitely want to do and are looking into, but I have no idea what we could actually get in for launch. But, that's the upside of it being an MMO, all those ideas that we love we put on the long list of stuff to get in and then the guys can just start ticking off the cool stuff and get it into the game.
