Hey, all!

Recently, I got Windows 7 on my computer, the new version of Windows that will be released next year. I am also going to be using it to play Champions when it releases.

Anyone else here doing the Windows 7 test thing? If so, I figured we should have a thread about any issues that pop up with Champions, and have a place to work on them together.

So far, I've found it to be very stable, and it's handled everything I could throw at it, including playing a hulu video while playing WoW, running my virus scanner, and compiling a sound mix in Adobe Audition, all at the same time.

Can't wait for this game to be released!

Note: Anyone can be a part of the Windows 7 test, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you do not do so unless you are very computer savvy, and not doing it on your main computer. If you'd like to join in with us early adopters, here is the page that will tell you all you need to know:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/download.aspx

Again, DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND LOSING EVERYTHING ON YOUR COMPUTER. It is a beta release, and anything can happen. I will try and help with anything Champions related in this thread, but outside of that, you should head over to the Microsoft boards and post there.

*sigh* it is not a beta version it is a Release Candidate, this means it is 99.9% complete just minor bug fixes left.

As for using it a fair few use it on a second drive theres no point using it as a full time OS right now as it only works for 13 months and cant be upgraded to a full release version.

And what else did you expect from what is a cleaned up version of vista?

I apologize. In the future I will allow you to proffread(sp?) my posts to ensure I use the correct vernacular.

The point in using it is for fun! It's cool to check out new stuff and see what the problems are with it. Of course I'll still have to purchase it, but some of us like finding problems and bugs and seeing if we can solve them. It's enjoyable.
