Since this game is being released for both PC and Xbox360, will the PC UI be oversimplified to take into account the slower input ability of the console?

Also, anyone have any info on the level of macroing that will be available in the game?

I think its a tad bit early to be talking about macros.

But If CoX is any indication, very limit macros if any will be allowed.

It is a concern but I've decided to defer my worry until either the devs give us more information on this or someone is crazy enough to let me into the beta test and I can see if it is a problem for myself.

Yeah, the macro part was an afterthought to my post. I'm more curious about the UI.

Game Informer article mentions a simple console style HUD. The talk some about the overcluttered MMO screens that cover alot of the action. And sinse the game is controller mapped not keyboard, as well as likely integrated talk (possible required talk again due to the 360) that take away two large interfaces.

I think the console and the PC is going to be the same, just like FFXI is on the PC and the 360.

I don't think there will be macros for this game, ok, maybe chatting macros but I don't think combat macros because its a real time combat system and tbh that would be kind of cheating :D

Omg I need to find that GI article somewhere, I am missing a lot of info it seems like!

That sounds like the xbox version. I'm hoping the PC version will operate more like a normal PC game (keyboard and mouse rather than thumbstick).
