Are we going to get the lifepath option from the PNP game so we get ideas on how and why things are the way they are? Is there going to be an option for wealth, housing, vehicles etc? Also are we going to be able to 'register' with teh city/govt to be heros, or are we restricted to being vigilantes?

Who knows. The only thing we know right now is what's in the Game Informer mag

Ummm... the lifepath thing is from Cyberpunk, I'm afraid.
Admittedly, I've never played the Fuzion version of the rules - considering that was partly done by R. Talsorian games (creators of the Cyberpunk RPG), I could see how it might have snuck in there.
At the very least, the lifepath has never been a part of Champions Ed 1-4, or the current Hero System (5th ed.).

"Life Path"?
Isn't that something they advertise on Late Night TV infomercials?
Maybe I am thinking of "Life Link"? :p
The option for wealth, housing, vehicles etc is very appealing to me and will give the players something else to do than just leveling and "endgaming". For me, community features thus projects are an endgame on itself.

The "Lifepath" was a way of randomly rolling a background for your character in Cyberpunk, BTW.

Oh... I see. Sorta like rolling your background in "Traveller". :)
Of course, you could roll yourself to retirement in Traveller, either being in the armed forces, school, or other jobs. :D

I think Lifepaths were also used in the Fuzion-based Champions: The New Millennium.

As for registering with the government or not, you are able to have/show the public your secret identity. Maybe that's kind of the same thing.

Sadly Fuzion did exist and did have the lifepath system... also sadly it was the only version of Champs I was ever exposed to.

I also only had the fuzion experience, but there are othe raspects of character creation i would like to see, since its a point buy system, i would like to see attributes we could but to whatever level, give us a benchmark foir normal human and let us go from there, skills so we can actually do something other than click for the win or punch it to death, perks and flaws, wealth, contacts, influence so we can get a better start to teh characters because not everyone wants to play blaster clone #5 and start with the exact same contacts as everyone else did.
skills that were based on our powers, so i might have an uber death ray as my power but i could really suck at hitting with it until i get more expereinced. I'm glad we can have secret identities hoefully it more meaningful than click option yes or no. Does anyone have other ideas they would like to see?

It would be cooler if someone's Origin/Backround affect the charater more that just a blurb on your character sheet or a minor starting power. An exclusive power set like "Gadgets" for a tech background or "Summoning" for a magic background.

i agree having the origin of a characters power mean more than where they can buy increases for tehir powers.

"Fuzion did not exsist" But if that's the case, what does that make all the people that HAVE seen Fuzion??
