Well this is great news! But why is it that we (the fan base) are always the last to know about this sort of stuff? It sucks that we are neglected as a fan base; we dig up new screenshots on the web without even a whisper from Cryptic, what’s the deal with this anyway?

have people reserved already? gamestop hasnt said anything about keys or how we will get them have they?

Honestly? We're already hooked, and therefore require less maintenance. The need publicity in order to boost sales, and websites and publications basically say "we'll get your name out there if you give us new info to hook people into coming to us." That means in order to keep the press happy, Cryptic has to throw them bones before posting it here.

These dates are by no means finalized, and are working dates that are most likely going to change. I'm not sure why this information was posted, but we will post the dates for things like Open Beta as we set them.

Additionally, the "level cap" in that article is incorrect. There is currently no level cap for characters in the beta. (Besides hitting the maximum level of 40, that is.)
