All I want to avoid is any stabbing motions when I'm wielding something you emphatically won't be stabbing with. And by Odin if someone mentions the top of an axe can be a bit pointy, I shall not be happy.

I want to be able to use a bo staff or a quarterstaff. That's sort of a long stretch, though, since it'd require new animations. If the devs, whom I love with all my heard, are nice enough to do that, I'd pass down their names to my children through stories of their greatness (that's some good incentive, right there).

They're mostly non-lethal, too. And that's just the kind of weapon a hero should have!

You can also use the head of a hammer in a forward thrusting motion to push someone away.

*Waits for Khorak to have an aneurysm*

- Hope that answers your question...
*hugs you*

This is exactly what I wanted to hear you guys rock!!!

To quote Mark Twain: "Please get your facts straight first, Sir; then you may twist them to your heart's content!" Because, well, I said nothing of the sort.

Harvestking asserted that actually wielding the weapons would be the same motions ... a typical "I've watched a pile of action movies, so I must be an expert on how to fight" nonsense attitude I've encountered more than a few times over the years.

I rebutted that part of his post, by pointing out all the different sorts of motions that effectively wielding differently-designed implements would entail. He then called me and everyoen who agreed with me ... well, something the moderators agreed was an unkindness disallowed by the rules, so I shan't repeat it. Suffice to say that making that comment does not indicate Harvestking is particularly mature, and you'll have the right general idea about what sort of remark it was.

Yeah, Chains as a visible manifestation for a Whip weapon family would work, awesomely. Iconic-Hero-wise, Ghost Rider uses chains ... ^_^ really really awesome prehensile, extensible, near-indestructible, HELLFIRE-imbued chains ... heh.

Chains are in. Seen them in a couple different screenshots already. I think they're a part of the Supernatural set.
