INTRODUCTION

Well it appears the NDA is gone!

While there are many better and more detailed guides than this one, my goal is to create a very simple and easy to follow reference guide for the types of things I wanted to know most when I first got in the game. Please let me know if you find anything that is inaccurate or not easy to follow.

1. The mayor's daughter is just beyond the mayor's mission area, just outside in the street.

2. People in the rubble mission should pop up when you are near the second quest area.

3. The cat carrier is to the left just before you hit the ambulances and people in rubble. Turn in the cat at the third quest area. There is a woman there talking about “Reggie”.

4. Foxbat is to the left just after the ambulances and people in rubble, on the other side of the wall.

5. Kinetic is across from Silverback. If you face the same way as him, head forward then left and you will see a green cloudy area between the buildings. The police radio is in a police car past the ambulances as you head towards Silverback.

6. You can get a Perk (Red Bug Down) if you jump on the downed ship just past where you start.

7. Talk to Sapphire at the beginning. It is part of the We Are the Champions perk.

8. Talk to the Mayor during the celebration. He gives you the Key to the City souvenir item

9. After the Open Mission with Ironclad, you can get an item from the little "bowling pin" marker on the map. Go there and you will be able to click on it. This happens at every Open Mission.

Level 2, 3, & 4 are an increase in HP, increase in End, and increase in Equilibrium Point, I believe. Not sure if in that order. But then they continue to increase with each subsequent level.

Nice cheat-sheet for all the necessary build-starting info.

So Dex increases chance to hit. Is that for all powers? What kind of chance to hit are we looking at? Just trying to decide if it's worth it to raise dex. Can you see CTH #s ingame?

there is no such thing as "chance to hit", every power hits. there is no such thing as a miss, only a "dodge", which is a partial damage reduction.

dexterity increases chance to dodge with powers like lightning reflexes and masterful dodge, and increases chance to CRIT.

Dex does not increase chance to hit, that is chance to CRIT. Also, it was debated in beta whether or not Lightning Reflexes is required for DEX to interact with Dodging.
