It was a business decision that was made and the right one too. Atari could have given more ammo to Turbine in their agruements against the company on grounds of deceptive practices, changing LIMITED TIME to LIMITED QUANTITY could have been considered that way. In addition, they were more then likely getting hammered by their suppliers asking why there paying customers were canceling their orders. Remember, posting in forums are like icebergs, you only see part of the iceberg and more people were canceling orders then were posting on the forums. In addition, NO company wants the title of the being the next SOE.

All in all a good business decision and those of us who were shortchanged are appreciative of this. Which is why I went and got a lifetime subscription. In additon, I will also be more likely to get expansions and utillize RMT.

Though I became a lifer as soon as the offer was announced, I am happy to see these reinstated.

Not to satisfy the apparently endless deluge of whiners, of course, but because I look forward to an active community for a very long time. Showing this amount of care towards the least loyal of your customers is unprecedented for a triple-A development team, and I think it speaks highly of your character.

Plus, all of the inflammatory nonsense garnered a fair amount of publicity, which is never a bad thing.

In short, yay Cryptic!

Although I bought a lifetime before they sold out, I hafta say thanks! You're going to make a lot of folks happy, and I reckon we can't say you don't value your player base... at least not for like, two weeks.

Again, I repeat: Our account server is having issues processing orders at the moment. When we resolve the issues, you'll see the news post on the front page updated. Now that we have no limit on the orders, there's no rush for you to order today. If you can't purchase it today, try again tomorrow.

i have. cryptic has done this in the past with CoX. its not a surprise to me that they did this now with CO.

@Daeke - Can you please advise on the debit card issue?

There are only options for Credit Cards but I want to sign up for the 6 month sub, and Maestro is the only option I have of making that payment, or Paypal.

A cryptic team member that knows how to write posts and read. Yet refuses to comment on performance.

Color me surprised.

I mean ill just keep going if you want :/ Im not giving up until i get an official response for Cryptic regarding performance. This seems to be the most active thread today so I will keep at it.

I want an official response on performance.

Each of those top-level posts have a multitude of posts within them with people having the same issues. It's not just my rig, nor is it the computer to begin with. ITS THE GAME CLIENT/ENGINE BEING POORLY OPTIMIZED.

Still awaiting response.
Riddle me this...

If your having poor performance in game, and you say its not your computer. How then, am I for example having no problems at all, in fact have perfect performance and i'm using the same client?
