Free Retcon for all! TONIGHT!

I'm pleased to announce that with the patch that will go live tonight (more on that later), we'll also be adding in the ability for us to grant players a free Retcon. Instead of our original plan to only grant it to characters created during the Early Start, we'll be handing them out to every character in the game! Here's how it will work:

Head to the Power House in any zone.
Choose "Retcon" from the Trainer's list of options.
A new button will show up in that window which says "Use Free Reset". Click on it, and a confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm that you want a full reset.
All your powers, advantages, talents, etc. will be completely removed from your character.
Buy new powers!

There is no time limit on the free Retcon: once you are granted one after tonight, you will be able to use it whenever you like. However, free Retcons do not stack with each other. If you do not use your free Retcon, and in the future we decide to grant one to all users (or users with a certain power set, etc.), you will not receive a second free Retcon.

I want to make sure to thank the developers who moved around their schedule to make this feature a priority. I know how important it was to everyone, and I'm glad we were able to develop the tools barely a week after the game launched. Enjoy!

Is it possible to continue using the Powerhouse, purchasing powers and stuff, and save the free retcon for later?

Thank you Daeke! I can finally fix my "healer" now. See you all are sticking with the CoH style of respecs, as if we all didn't see that coming anyway :P
