Free C-store points instead of retcon Tommorow.

I think that cryptic should give free C-store points rather than a free retcon, for people who really dont care to have a retcon and all.....it would generate actual interest in the C-store, or at least people knowing of the C-store. I have ran into a couple people who have no idea what the C-store even is lol. But honestly i think that they should do C-store points rather than a free retcon, say 1,000 (price of a retcon in c-store) so people who want a retcon can get it, but others who dont can spend their points on some of the fun stuff in the cryptic store (Jason mask FTW!). Would there really be anything bad that would come from doing it this way?

You do realize the point of Cryptic giving us a retcon is to compensate for the power changes, right? This isn't some random giveaway.

And C-store points would be a compensation too......cause technically the free retcon is still there....so that others who didn't want a retcon, still can use the points as they please

Wouldn't work. The free retcon they give out is for each character. Giving out enough Cbucks to cover the 8 characters that most of us have would cost Cryptic $100 an account.

I could maybe see a choice between a 1000 C points for an account vs a free retcon per character choice.

ok ok.....i haven't told you the whole story.....yesterday i used all my C-store points for a retcon....and i want my points back now that everyone get a free one........

If you read the original post, he stated 1000 points, the cost of a c-store full retcon.

This is a silly thread. Though why they're giving out a retcon because of a server outage is beyond me. I'm going with "We were gonna do it anyway, 2 birds, 1 stone" personally.

I have to wonder, since Daeke said it was due to the server outages this weekend, not because of power changes. But what does Daeke know?
