Not retreiving character list

Wow (and I don't mean the MMO), this is kind of pathetic. Invite folks to come see the "new improved" Champions and I get to look at a loading screen... "BRILLIANT!" ... now comes the insincere appology and a free jelly bean for everyone who was inconvienenced by the malfunction. Maybe next time Cryptic, back to Brutal Legend!

Me too. This is exactly the kind of thing that makes me roll my eyes and groan every time I talk to a Cryptic Developer at a show and they say "We are lucky not to have the same problems other new MMO developers have because we already have a proven MMO engine platform to start with."

well, it really sucks for some of us with friends trying the free weekend. Hope this doesn't last 12 hours like last time.

Second time we've had this happen and the game has been out for what, two months? I'm okay with two days out of two months of the gaming having issues like that.

On this magnitude I mean, I know there are various other things, and people constantly complain about the two hour down times randomly throughout the week, but I'd rather have them fixing things all the time (and breaking things that were fine to begin with) than sitting on their arses doing nothing.


Shows they at least care about the player base enough to try.

The second time??? wtf, are u an alien?? or just joined the game??...more than 2 server downs on every weekend , thats not 2 times. And yes, its bad, really bad, i think cryptic doesnt have a server, they have a cowboy robot without legs. Cuz i dont understand anything..

I have every event perk on my character except for the one you need to be lvl 32 to get.... was gonna work on 2 more levels for this perk. I don't care about retconning, but I sure hope they extend the holiday event by some time. This was my last full day to play before back to work.

Nope, been here since a bit after it went live, and it's not an every weekend problem. It's only happened (as I said) to this magnitude twice. Being these past two weekends.

And I'd take my word over most, since I have no life and am on the game for nearly 14 hours every day save for the select few that I work or on Wednesday nights when I'm bowling.


Again, yes. We've had lag issues, hell we've had crashing issues, but they were all short, temporary. Maybe ten minutes tops.

And we've had patches and maintenance. A lot. But it's announced, and we know ahead of time 99.999999% of the time.

So what I'm not understanding, other than the obvious trolls, is why people get so ****ed off about a NEW game having problems.

Have some patience people.
