Honestly i found the game fun im going to buy it. I love the amazing customization but it was hard for me to pick the powers i never really knew what i wanted to pick for my character but thats cause im new.
I never made it to any group parts but i did duel people The game and patch took awhile to download so i only had about a day to play. Melee lost really easy to ranger it was kinda unbalance but doesnt matter alot since i could use my force powers also

I'm a veteran CoH player, and I always loved it... Naturally I looked at champions like a cancer just like all the CoH lovers did. While I did think the game would be terrible, I did however wish to at least try it out for the character creation and to give it a good run to see if its worth the money.

I went into this game with the lowest of expectations and was right to do so, because it only made it better when the game turned out to actually be one of the most fun I've played in a rather long time. I heard a lot about the game, about how there is no solo-ability, and that cookie cutter builds were the only way to play... Quite frankly I solo'd my way up to almost level 20 on about 4 different characters with almost no problems (except for the piece of crap super villain in canada that dodges all your attacks...)

While the end game may or may not be lacking, and only certain builds may or may not work, this game is still incredibly fun and I will most definitely be making a purchase when I have a little money here within the next week or so.

I know CoH veterans will hate this comment, but I do honestly think Champions is more fun for the soul reason that... You CAN solo in it, and it has fun open world things for you to do, not just the same instance over and over with different levels of enemies or a slightly different map.

I can only hope that there is a fun and enjoyable end game on champions, unlike CoH. Sorry but, I can do every level 50 TF in 1 day for 'ok' rewards. Theres only one MMO out there that has a good end game, and you all know what I'm talking about... Even though I hate it, I can't deny it had plenty to do at max level... (Yes.. I do mean WoW, try not to get red in the face spewing pointless insults over a valid remark.)

P.S. I got the name Toast... be jealous.

I found the game refreshing and fun, although with some faults. However, every MMO has faults, especially ones that are newer to the market.

Things I liked:

- The fact names aren't a one-player-only thing. None of that 'This name is already in use.' crap. On the other hand it means there can be 50 people named 'The Holk' or 'Arachnidman'.
- The graphics. I'm not a graphics nut, but they were nice to look at.
- The character creator. I found it great, and a strong element and draw to the game. Although I wish there were a few more pieces, the same applies to COX. If would be nice if players were allowed to submit costume pieces provided they created the model. Of course, not every Tom, Dick and Harry can do such work.
- The game play pace. Combat was quick and enjoyable, and leveling is not too slow.

Things I disliked:

- Power balance. Some are 'too weak', some are 'too strong', some are 'useless'.
- The sheer amount of furries. Not Cryptic's fault.

Things I had no issue with:

- Downloading, installing and patching the game. Took me 3 hours for the whole shebang.
- Connecting to the game, except the 15-20 minute period it went offline because somebody spilled coffee on the server.

lt;dr I'm going to buy this probably.

Fix the bugs and take responsibility. It is YOUR game and not ours. If a system meets or exceeds system requirements, it should be able to run. I am frustrated because there is so much potential here. I take back some of the statements I made about you guys, Thanks for posting this thread! Can you do me a favor? Smack Bill Roper, thanks!> lol

Default I like this game

I like this game, and although my 256MB graphics card doesn't do the game justice it is still beautiful.
When I get my new Windows 7 PC I think I'll be going Champions Online.

Here are a few things I liked:

1) I love the gameplay. Although it's a departure from PnP Champs with its stress on levels and other imports of conventions that need to be put out to pasture, I found the action to be good and innovative unlike most MMOs who haven't really done much in this area since EQ (like the DuploMMO, for example).

2) The large open worlds are nice.

3) I <3 the Might set. I really, really do. I also love smashing things into other things. I really love knock up and knock back. I can has hit people with other people soon?

Some things that frustrated me:

1) The character creator. Honestly, there was no rhyme or reason to why I couldn't do a lot of combinations. I was artificially herded into somewhat suboptimal configurations because the creator was inflexible.
Similarly, there seems to be JUST ONE FACE. I did try for hours, but couldn't get much past the standard face. No teardrop faces or whatever. And no bellybuttons? And what's up with the trench coat with buttons options tht doesn't have a "trenchcoat" part to it?

2) Teaming was clunky and difficult to coordinate. Teams being either hard to find or alot of "Marco Polo" and being unable to locate the mission. Also maybe chat should be across all shards of the area.

3) Maybe you should think about making retconning cheaper. At least until higher levels. Experimenting as a newbie was irritating due to the way this works. Maybe put retconning the powers in a different queue or something.

4) Along the same lines, powers need more explanation. I like it when some powers explain what stats they scale off of, but this might need to be more prominent.

Some things on the wish list:

1) Transluscent gem style bodies for precious stone type tanks

2) High collar Ship's Captain collars on cloaks, jackets. a la Captain Harlok.

3) Some endgame stuff for Kruunk
